Reflecting on 19 Years of Building Strong Partnerships

On April 1, 2004, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and embark on the path of entrepreneurship. To be completely honest, I had no clue what I was doing. I didn't have a business plan in place, just a simple idea that there had to be a better way to sell and manage wireless accounts for companies. Looking back now, it's hard to believe that it's been 19 years since that day. The journey has been beyond anything I could have imagined.

Looking back at the early years, one thing stands out the most: the generosity and openness of the people I had the privilege of doing business with. Many of them were significantly older and more experienced than me, having either created their own successful companies or were managing medium to large businesses. Despite the age gap and differences in background, they were incredibly supportive and even offered me jobs during the first year in case my venture didn't pan out. Little did they know, they became my mentors, offering valuable advice on how to improve my offer, position myself in the market, and create a billing structure that worked for everyone. Their guidance was and is instrumental in my success and I will always be grateful for their generosity and support.

I have tried over the last several years to pay this generousity forward by mentoring students and start ups. I don’t know if the impact I am having is anywhere close to what many of you unknowingly did for me, but I am trying.

Thank you for everyone who gave Wojcik Communications an opportunity in the early years and throughout the the last 19!
